Tomorrow's Tiferet Torah
A number of years ago, having been inspired by the idea to help others, I joined the Mitzvah Man volunteer squad. But before I knew it, I myself needed help from the Mitzvah Man.
Last summer, my 14-year-old son decided that he did not want to go to camp, but rather wanted to work. He’s a very responsible young man, but I couldn’t find him a job. Who would hire a 14-year-old for the summer? So, I called Mitzvah Man!
Almost right away, he found my son a job at the Sephardic Food Pantry. It was such an amazing experience for my son. He learned so much about hesed that summer and it was worth the world to me. I was so happy knowing that he was safe and spending his time doing something fulfilling.
